Hello, my aunt is suffering from continuous coughing from last 3 days and due to that she is facing trouble while breathing. She is under medication. We have admitted her in hospital and doctor told that she is suffering from asthama. Today coughing is again started. Can anyone suggest whom we should consult?

If coughing has started recently as mentioned by you since 3 days, less likely we can diagnose asthma. But asthma can still be there. Short history of cough can suggest pneumonia. Get chest Xray done and consult a pulmonologist.

Hello if the condition is already diagnosed as asthma and if its severe you need to admit her in icu bettr to consult a physician or pulmonologist for further evaluation and treatment.
