The Scissor Was Used By The Other Person 40-45 Minutes Before My Use.

You are completely safe from HIV, Hepatitis C, Syphilis, and HSV in this situation. These viruses cannot survive on a dry metal surface for 40-45 minutes. HIV in particular becomes non-infectious within minutes of drying outside the body. Hepatitis B is the most resilient but transmission still requires significant direct blood-to-blood exposure â an incidental cut from scissors used 40+ minutes ago does not meet this threshold. No PEP is needed at all.
