It is important to understand that it is normal to pass stool, even at a frequency of 1 time every 3 days. Need to do some dietary changes, increased water and fiber intake, and you will do just fine. Increasing exercise also helps with bowel movements. If this is troubling you, you can consider Bisacodyl 10mg once before bedtime (maximum for 7 days). You can also consider PEG3350 sachet or Lactulose solution for use over a longer duration.
