My one year old baby has congenital ptosis on left eye. How long should we wait for his surgery? Does the surgery relapse? Is it 100%successful and which hospital will be best for such a small baby's surgery?

Surgery depends on degree of ptosis.. usually surgery done at 6 yrs but if ptosis is of higher grade it should be done at 1 yr also.. Better to consult local Ophthalmologist..

Hi .. If obstructing vision, immediate intervention needed. If not, wait till child can safely be taken under GA and all.which is around 8/10 years.. Also look for any other associated congenital problems. Sometimes squint or other general problems also there.
