Confused by ct tech

Im a 30 year old male and smoke heavily about 2-3ppd and I started when I was 9. I had a recent ct scan and was told I have signs of early small airway trapping. What does this mean?

It means that you can have COPD / exertional breathless / chronic cough,etc. Please stop smoking and see a pulmonologist.

Air trapping on CT scan is also a sign of small air obstruction or Respiratory Bronchiolitis - ILD, closely related with Smoking.
