Sir, Doctor did a colonoscopy , in its biopsy report it is showing , 'Focally ulcerated mucosal linings and Lamina propria with Lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate' . What does it means. I am not able to reach my consulting doctor due to covid emergencies in Hospital. Is it a matter of any concern?

What was your symptoms, for that your doctor advised colonoscopy. Biopsy report is saying there is some inflammatory reaction in your gut, which may be non specific. You must have to do a follow up colonoscopy after 3 months to see the extent of that lesion. No need to worry, it may be a normal ulcer, which will resolved by itself. Only thing to do is a repeat colonoscopy.
