Cold and cought for 6 month baby boy
Hello Doctor, My 6 moth baby is suffering from heavy cold and cough. I have purchased a new nebulizer machine. Could you please suggest medicine that I we should use for nebulization. I have purchased duolin respule from local chemist. Can I use it? What should be the amount and duration for nubulization.
Better to consult a pediatrician for cough and cold as you say heavy cough and cold. It's especially urgent if child is breathing fast, not active and not feeding. Nebulization should be given only if advised by doctors. Duolin is used in selected cases only and has side effects which a lay person cannot gauge. Simple steam inhalation with steamer is safe and best.
