My wife is 34 week pregnent. Since last 3 days, she is having cold and cough (not fever). This happened specifically on the day when we installed and started AC at home. We consulted our gynecologist but he asked us to consult general physician. She does not have fever (not even mild) in last 3 days. We are going to consult general physician at our place tomorrow but we would like to know which syrup or medicine she can take today to minimize the it's effect (considering she is 34 week pregnant) She is taking steam and gargle salt water 4-5 times daily. It has decrease the cough but still, it has not completely gone. Kindly advice.
