Chronic Headache

My doctor has prescribed Cipralex Escitalopram 10mg for ideopathic headache and the course is for 2 weeks. I have read the online review of the same and there are certain side effects of the medicine since they're concluded as anti depressants. I just want to understand if the medicine prescribed is right for a chronic headache problem.

It really depends on the detailed history of what kind of headache you have. Once we know the character of the headache we can classify it and then treat it accordingly. Trust me, no one will be able to give you a straight answer with such little information.
