Chlorthalidone 12.5 mg x 2 tablets ok?

Dear Doctor, I am taking Chlorthalidone 25 mg tablet once daily for hypertension. 25 mg tablets are not available in India. Can I take 12.5 mg x 2 tablets instead of 25 mg x 1 tablet? I am also taking Metoprolol Tartrate 50 mg twice daily. Can I take Metoprolol 50 gm, extended release, twice daily if Metoprolol Tartrate is not available? I understand that Metoprolol Tartrate is immediate release tablet.

Yes . You can take chlorthalidone 12.5X2 if 25 is not available Check BP before taking metaprolol, if BP is high you can take extended release tab
