Chlamydia ; hsv testing or not

Can i take a blood test for chlamydia?? I am currently using augmentin 625 as i had tonsillitis recently.. But i want to get a test done for chlamydia and Hsv 1 and 2.. Can i go ahead? Or need to postpone the test... If so for how long? Suggest

You can take the test. Augmentin can kill bacteria but can't change the immunological status of the patient.
