Good evening, My daughter is 4 year old weight 16.7 kg just recovered from a viral fever 2 days ago but she is having cough with sound of phlegm. Kindly suggest any expectorant without any side effects...

Post viral cough takes 10 - 14 days. If it is post viral cough than you can give syp promethazine 4ml tds for 2 days . Better to consult a pediatrician and get examination done.
