I understand your concern. What you are describing most likely seems to be post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). There are creams and procedures like chemical peels that will help. But what will suit you the best can be determined only after a physical examination by an allopathic dermatologist.
Next Steps
So my suggestion is that you visit an allopathic dermatologist near you so that the doctor can determine which method will be helpful in your case. Before you choose your dermatologist read this article please : http://www.skinmatra.com/single-post/2016/07/03/Skin-Troubles-Here-is-WHAT-NOT-TO-DO
Health Tips
Also, a word of caution : Because a procedure is expensive doesn't mean it is the best. Please understand the pros and cons of the procedure suggested... also, understand and ask questions to your dermatologist about the best way to approach, even if it means it will take time. Understand if a procedure is needed at all in the first place, and if only creams will help. Again my experience is that quick fixes in skin treatments are a risky business. Marks(PIH) tend to fade away with creams too, but of course (if you are convinced)then even peels work and speed up the fading process ... it is the scars (pits) that need intervention in the form of invasive procedures (like subcision, microneedle RF etc). Lastly, always get treatment from a dermatologist that you are comfortable with.
