Hi, chicken pox is a viral disease. it is very rare in adults. If it occurs in adults usually it will be severe. She needs to take antiviral drugs and some skin soothening creams for treatment. Since first trimester is crucial time for brain and organ development we have to asess the fetus regularly. Continue iron and folic acid supplementation. Consult obstetrician for further care.
