Chest pain with normal reports
Hi doctors my doubt is that can worrying about chest pain and heart attack really cause any heart related problems Because I'm having left side chest pain since November 2022 and took all tests
Echo normal takes in November tmt Normal taken in December CT angio normal taken in March. But for the past few days my pain in chest has been increased. Can it be because of stress because I worry about this chest pain a lot and I'm thinking about it all time and living in constant fear that I might get a heart attack. Please help me with this . How can I get out from this.
Hi, I am Dr Saumya and I am a Cardiac surgeon. First of all I would advice you to calm down as all the required investigations for your heart have come normal.
Any heart related pain would be more in center of chest or shoulders or left arm and not in left side of chest. Such pain will be exaggerated on walking or doing any activity or even after food. Along with that you will have sweating and palpitations.
So please don’t be worried with false symptoms bcz the stress of being diseased can trouble you with high BP and depression.
