Changing Minoxidil to WellGrow

2025-11-18 14:52:01
Hi use Minoxidil 5% Topical potion. I also take Telvas for BP which is under control at 130/90 but recently someone suggested that Minoxidil increases BP and suggested WellGrow. Is it safe? Any other solution i can use or well grow 5% is good and hope it doesnt increase bp.

Minoxidil is a vasodilator It will not increase your blood pressure Oral minoxidil in the form of tablets can decrease your blood pressure theoretically if taken with other bp lowering meds. Only less than 10% of minoxidil lotion get absorbed into your blood..so there is very minimal chances to lower your blood pressure.
Next Steps
You can use either of the brands for hair loss.

Topical Minoxidil 5% does not increase BP. It is safe to use even if you have BP and are taking Telvas, because only a tiny amount gets absorbed into the body. WellGrow 5% is also Minoxidil — same ingredient, just a different brand. So it will not affect your BP either. You should avoid topical minoxidil only if you get: Fast heartbeat Dizziness Swelling of feet Otherwise, Minoxidil 5% is safe, effective, and the standard treatment for hair loss.

Minoxidil does not increase b.p., rather it is meant to lower it. You can use it safely. Also increase proteins in your diet. Avoid stress, hair should be dandruff free. Massage scalp with any  natural oil, one or 2 times perweek. Use organic shampoo for hair wash and avoid the ones containing chemicals.
