Change in SSRI

I have recently started taking Nexito LS under doctor's advice. I was previously taking Nexito Plus and I was doing well. It has been 5 days since I have been taking new medicine and I am facing anxiety spells, breathlessness, heaviness in head, muscle tension and slight dizziness. Is this normal? Should I be worried? Or should I go back to taking Nexito Plus.

You should consult your psychiatrist, nothing big to be worried about. Can be expected symptoms in initial few days. Get a correct opinion fr your psychiatrist

Consult your doctor and let him decide the switch back. NEXITO LS contains more escitalopram and less clonazepam than Nexito plus, which contains more clonazepam compared to escitalopram. That might be the reason you are facing these difficulties. If ylur doctor is not available or not willing to modify, kindly consult an astute psychiatrist either in person or online for recovery. Good luck.

A decrease in Anxiolytics will cause these effects. Better consult your doctor and change treatment accordingly.
