Any infection can occur after vaccination but chances of disease or severity of disease decrease depends upon type of vaccine. Like influenza vaccine require vaccination annually.

Yes even after 2 dose of vaccination there are chances of getting affected by covid but the severity and chance of lung involvement are less. This is due to the change in strain that is mutation in the virus. The virus is mutated when it goes from one person to another, and a new strain is produced, that is why lockdown was there and social distancing is advice so that new strains are not produced. Hope this helps. For further information and queries, consult me here on practo. Will be glad to help u.

Chances of covid infection after 2 doses of vaccine is still there as there are newer strains of virus. Vaccination can help to prevent the severity of infection. Hence maintaining social distancing, using mask and hand hygiene still needs to be continued
