I'm 22 and 1 year ago I was diagnosed with cervical problem as I loosed alot of weight and did extreme diet .. Doctor keeping in mind my age told me to just go for regular exercise since than I didn't go for any check up . Can I continue with gym or should I go for the check up again ? As the pain is not relieved can yoga be the better option?

Hey there! You should get rid of your pain first. There can be different number of problems causing the "cervical" "region" pain. One of the reasons being, loosing a lot of weight at once. Getting on diet, such as keto diet, and loosing weight at once; can turn out to be problematic. Body fat and "cushions" of body parts disappear, spinal alignment affected. Muscles can get into spasm. Firstly, diet change, and then vigorous exercise routine. Our body cannot cope up.
Next Steps
Get checked first. Take proper diet. Proper healthy food matters. It seems that you have chronic cervical spasm.
Health Tips
please do not name your problem as "cervical problem". Cervical is a region of spine. The cervical "region" of spine can have many issues causing the pain. You should be aware of that issue and get it treated first.

Hello ,as per my opinion you must get your blood test done especially vit D3,B12, calcium. And if your pain haven’t subsided yet ,start with cold packs for 5 mins on pain areas 3-4 times a day .After you get your blood test reports consult a good Physio nearby and after your pain resolves than only start with exercises. Thanks
