Cataract surgery

My father aged nearly 60 years will undergo a cataract operation on 14th April 2021. But his covid 19 vaccination is scheduled on 9th April. He also got preliminary tests like ecg, tsh, hiv, etc for the operation. Is there any linkage between covid vaccine and cataract surgery ? Will it cause any problem if he takes the vaccine just 5 days before surgery?

There is no corelation between cataract surgery and covid vaccination ,taking a vaccine shot prior or after the surgery dosent affect the outcome of the surgery usually people report fever bodyache and headache after the second dose of vaccine nowdays cataract surgery are performed only on Topical Anesthesia so its very safe for the patient .keep your doctor informed about the vaccination schedule .
