Car battery acid leaked on my foot thumb

Hello. Today in the morning I was picking up my car's battery and while picking up the battery,the acid of battery get leaked and fallen down on my thighs and foot thumb , immediately I didn't feel anything but after 1 min my thigh and foot get itching no other symptoms then I wash my legs then I feel better I have no redness or mark . Is it normal or I need any medicine. Is car battery acid are very strong?
