Can u confirm me Augmentin 625 dosage
I have tonsillitis with white patches and no fever nothing but have little bit congestion in throat. Do I need to take Augmentin 625 for 1-1-1 (3times) after food for seven days?
Can u confirm dosage? Never taken antibiotics more than once in a day before.
For a Male aged 31 years, the dose of Augmentin tab is 625 mg two times daily
Add a anti inflammatory like Paracetamol 650 two times daily
Together with it a warm saline throat gargling is also indicated,,,

So Augmentin is a combination of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate. And Clavulanate is absorbed better on an empty stomach to decrease the rate of side effects. The usual adult dose for 625 mg is one tablet every 12 hours. Preferably before food.
