I have developed a cavity in one of the molar.. Can I save this teeth or do I have to extract it.. I am feeling minimal pain with no swelling..

Yes this tooth can be saved . U need to get an x ray done for the same tooth, followed by rct followed  by crown .

It is a deep embedded cavity, whic is covered more than half of the buccal side. The food gets lodged into the cavity leading to foul smell. The tooth can be saved by root canal treatment. No need of extraction.

now at time of pandemic i suggest you visit dentist only if the pain is more.

please brush twice a day and gargle with lukewarm salt water to reduce pain and make sure food lodgement is not present on the cavity. Dont try to disturb the cavity, it more weakens the tooh and breaks.
