Can't differ between spotting or periods

I had a protected sex two weeks prior to commencement of my periods,but periods were not as always ,I had light brown discharge and a lot heavy red discharge with clots. I don't have any other signs of pregnancy but I am still scared

Can't say whether it was a miscarriage or due to harmonal changes or may be due to stress ,see for a few more days if it continues u may get back to us for further advice on this.
