Can i wear 3.5 myopia glasses for readin

I have 5 myopia, i wear these glasses regularly but lately i have realised that i can read books/tablet( 40-60 cm away from eyes), even with my old 3.5 glasses. Is it okay to wear 3.5 for reading books ( i read them for 10-12 hours a day ).

Ideally at your age you don't need glasses to read books ,but I would suggest you to get a dilated retinoscopy done by a a qualified ophthalmologist and get your glass number rechecked .
