Hi... Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique/treatment methodology which requires time and focus. It does not work in the manner it is shown in films.
Also, no one can hypnotize you without your consent. You wilfully allow a professional to take you into a hypnotic state to help you understand and relieve your repressed desires, guilt, shame, fears, etc. In no way it suggest complete recovery or permanent change.
Usually, it works well when conducted along with psychotherapy. The effects are different in different individuals but most people experience an overwhelming sense of self, their issues, and deep insights.
Next Steps
Hypnotherapy takes time. 15—20 Sessions minimum of 45 minutes duration each on Weekly basis.
