Can back disc issues affect voice or con

Hello Doctor, I have mid and lower back stiffness, mostly in the morning. I do not have any pain, numbness, or weakness in my legs or hands. I sometimes feel my voice is slightly less clear and my confidence drops when speaking, especially under stress or during interviews. I want to ask: Can a slip disc, herniation, or disc bulge in the back cause reduced voice clarity or lower confidence while speaking? I just want reassurance and advice. Thank you."

No that's because of anxiety Try meditation and mindful breathing exercises If not helpful then consult a psychiatrist

No, a slip disc, disc bulge, or herniation in the mid or lower back cannot affect voice clarity or speaking ability, as these spine levels do not control voice or speech muscles. Your morning back stiffness without pain is more likely due to posture, muscle tightness, or general conditioning. The reduced voice clarity and confidence you notice during stress are commonly related to anxiety, shallow breathing, or neck and throat muscle tension. There is no indication of a serious neurological or spine-related problem based on your symptoms.
