Can Antibiotics cause fever?

Hi, I am going through antibiotic course for my tooth cavity problem. Currently due to lockdown Dentists are not able to carry out any root canal procedures. So till that time given course of Antibiotics and pain killers as below - Augmentin 625 Duo, Ultracet, Pan D. But since after 24 hrs. I feeling feverish. So does combination of any of these drugs cause fever?

Antibiotics for few days help in reducing infection thus fever came down it's ok  use sensodyne repair tooth paste twice a day Apply gum paint locally in touch with doctor

These drugs are unlikely to cause fever. Fever may be due to tooth infection . U can wait for 2-3 days for full action of antibiotics. If high fever or severe pain please consult ur dentist.

Yes, antibiotics can cause a fever. It's called antibiotic fever. This happens when a person is on antibiotics for a long duration and by long duration I'm not talking about general Antibiotics course most people receive. However, the reason for your revert isn't Antibiotics are NOT the cause of fever, most likely the infection is the cause. Also, you say that you are feeling feverish. Please make sure you measure your temperature and post the recording here so that we can know how much fever you really have. If your fever is >100, take a paracetamol.
