How does the result of affected when c peptide test if done with out fasting ?? Mistakingly my 4 year old son test was done without fasting blood sample

Depends on the indication. Basically we need to see the basal C Peptide levels in fasting state. In fed state the levels obtained would reflect the response of beta cell to food intake.
