BURNING SENSATION,PAIN IN NIPPLE -BF

2025-10-15 01:18:38
My wife is having burning sensation and pain while breastfeeding 1.5 month baby and more so immediately after breastfeeding since last 7 days. Nipcare cream doesn't seem very effective. If there is some gap of 2 hours or more in breastfeeding, it is getting pacified and feels normal, but again burning starts with breastfeeding. Breast has no redness, a bit crack. No fever, chills or any other symtom like that.

Your baby needs further evaluation for tongue tie. You can apply your breastmilk specially the milk which comes at end of feeding to the nipple if cracked nipple is issue.
