Burn scar removal

Hello Doctor, I have a visible burn scar on my hand caused by a candle and needle. I wrote “AMMA” on my hand. One burn is recent and a similar injury happened last year. It is affecting me emotionally. Is it possible to reduce or remove this scar? What treatment options are available? I have attached a photo for reference. Please advise.

Hey there.... This issue looks like it is more than a bit "skin deep". Emotional trauma leading to your doing this to yourself repeatedly and then the emotional issues looking at it and wanting it to be gone both need to be addressed by a qualified psychologist or psychiatrist. The matter of "removal" of this burn & keloids that appear to be formed is not that straight forward and will need a personal consultation with a Dermatologist or Dermatosurgeon. Yes, the use of CO2 lasers may be required but it can also be excised and a skin grafting can be done. Depending on your financial situation this is best addressed by a Plastic surgeon or a Dermatologist. Creams and agents can be used to camouflage it should cost be an issue. This will serve the same purpose.
Next Steps
Online Consultation or INSTANT Consultation ONLINE 🙏
Health Tips
Avoid handling the area often and consider camouflage creams that can help "mask" this issue in the interim till sorted.
