I have strange bruises on the back of my calf just below my left knee. It has been causing me a lot of pain, I have shooting pains up and down my leg, a tingling sensation at the bruised area. I doesn't feel like muscle pain and I haven't done anything like fallen over etc to cause the bruising or a pulled muscle. There is a history of a lot of blood clots in my family, my leg has never been the same since I was hormone replacement therapy last year.
