I just noticed that I am having very slight discomfort in the lower tooth. On inspection, I noticed this brown spot which has developed. What is this and how should I treat it? Is it of any major concern?

This requires examination by your dentist. First scaling is needed. If the brown spot still persists after scaling that would mean it is tooth decay and will require restoration
