I am 8 weeks pregnant , noticing brown spotting since 3-4 days. Got the scan done, the baby seems fine . My progesterone levels are normal too . What can be the reason for the discharge ? Any medication required ?

Hello There might be different reasons for brown discharge. Get your examination with the nearest gynec or consult online as your complaints need to be correlated with some more history.

If the brownish discharge is persisting despite a normal ultrasound and normal progesterone levels, there could be other local causes of discharge like vaginal infection, polyp etc. You will need a gynecological check up (speculum examination ) to look for these causes.
