Breast lump

My mother observed small lump in her left brest 4 years back but recently has some pain we have thaken breast scan attaching the report she is fearing of cancer could you find report and suggest

Reports are fine . But I would recommend her to undergo a both breast mammogram. Sensitivity and specificity are higher at her age for mammogram. Since her age is 50 the recommended test is mammogram , please undergo a mammogram and if that is suggestive of same BIRADS then she can kept on follow up with yearly mammography , doesn’t need any other medication or intervention.

Given the long duration of the complaint and scan report suggestive of subcutaneous swelling likely mentioned as a sebaceous cyst , there is not much concern about cancer in this. However confirmed diagnosis can be given after seeing the pt clinically. If it’s a sebaceous cyst, it can be safely removed in few minutes to relieve her of the pain
