My 1 month old baby is taking nipple deeply and sucking on both sides for half an hour to 45mins and sleeping ..when waking up even after 5 to 10 mins she is crying ..how to know whether milk is coming enough for baby or not .. please suggest me..and also right side of my nipple is painful while sucking..
Dear parent, please check if the baby is passing urine and yellow stools 5 to 7 times a day..and gaining enough weight..these indicate baby is getting enough milk.
Nipple pain could be due to improper latching.. correct posture of mother and baby is important to main latching...
