Hello. Please ensure that when you take BP at home using electronic machine, you take reading 2-3 times, and take the reading to be true if the reading is more or less constant. Your BP in hospital can be on higher side if:
1. You don’t rest for 5 minutes after going to the clinic before taking BP.
2. White coat hypertension, i.e. you get stressed and nervous when you go to the hospital which spikes your BP.
3. Your BP is actually on the higher side and the Omron machine is measuring incorrectly (less likely if it’s always giving 130-140/80 reading). To eliminate this, follow the advice above.
Please, exercise regularly, restrict your salt consumption to no more than 1 teaspoon per day and eat green leafy vegetables.
Also, if you feel dizzy on multiple episodes, check BP during those episodes. Also, check if you are getting these dizziness episodes in certain positions only or not, like when lying down on one side or standing etc.
