Having an infection or just having vomiting because of any reason contemporary increase the heart rate and blood pressure can be normal. In such cases in ECG is not required but if your uncle has a heart disease or a history of risk factors like blood pressure sugar smoking and if the heart rate is rising above 150 then he definitely is an ECG. Without a proper history is very difficult to give a proper advice Get back to me with the detailed history for a proper consultation
