Bp patient from last 10 yrs. Fluctuating bp since 10 days. Taking amlosafe mt 50 for last 10 yrs. Dr added telvas 3D since 3 days. After taking telvas 3D bp has become stable at 180/80 , previously it was fluctuating between (180/97 to 160/90). How many days it would take to get the bp normal .

180 is a very high BP . Normally should settle within 4-5 days. If it doesn’t then consult a cardiologist

Hi. Your doctor added new medicine recently please wait for 10 days and daily take BP morning and evening to make a chart. If BP is not reduced then consult doctor. Mainstay of treatment is salt restricted diet, lifestyle modification and daily walk for 30 minutes.
