My 2 year old ( almost 3yrs)daughter body feels hot and have relatively fast heart beat but having temp between 98.8 to 99.8 (ear) .she is active and eating food no other symptoms except sometimes being dull.The same episode of fever happened 15 days back where as the temp then was btwn 98.8 and 100.6. Is this anything to be concerned about.

Good evening Axilla is the correct site to record kids temperature Please do record axillary temperature correctly with digital thermometer You need not worry if it is 98 degrees Thank you

Could you pls elaborate being dull Mild fever is nothing to b worried can gv paracetamol but being dull needs thorough examination

Greetings , if the temperature is morethan 99.5f can be considered as Fever, so your child is normal
