If u r not able to see..contact the doctor again  and recheck .. Can be due to problem with glass number or due to weak retina if numbers are so high . Option for contact lens can also be explored.

Yes, you should wear the glasses prescribed. If you still have problem then get your glasses rechecked.

Spectacles power can start at any time before 21 years of age. You should continuously use the glasses prescribed to you and get a spectacle power checkup done after every 6 months. If you meant that with the glasses of -0.25 you are not able to see the images clearly than get a spectacle power re-check done again.
