Blood while passing stool

Have been getting blood while passing stool for quite sometime. The blood is bright red in colour. And there is also constipation. No other symptom or pain. The blood in stool comes twice or thrice continuously in a month and then goes and again I get it after a month especially right before my periods. This pattern is been observed for the past 3 months. I do struggle to pass stool since I am constipated but no other discomfort other than that.

Well, painless bleeding from the anus, could indicate that you have haemorrhoids, or piles. Have you noticed any swelling in your anus?
