At 7am fasting sugar is 95. After one hour it increases to 120. No food or liquid taken between tests.

1. Counter regulatory hormones like Cortisol rise , raising sugar levels internally. 2. Hepatogluconeogenesis - Liver also produces sugar to keep the internal sugar in check. 3. Sugar is also reabsorbed from Kidneys , thus keeping sugar levels changing .
