Blood clot inside mouth
I attached a photo in this message I don't know what it is. Please tell me what it is and how dangerous it can be or is it harmless. It happened very first time and I don't know what to do.
dear patient. as i can see in the given picture there is a small blood clot formed. the main reason can be because of cheek biting. the injury caused due to the cheeks been bitten between two teeth. it can be very painful and need to be treated with topical application and medicines. i suggest you to not panic and consult a dentist for the said prescription. it will subside in few days, so there is no reason to worry.

The condition can arise out of constant cheek bite in the effected area.
Check with ypur dentist immediately if u have a cheek bite in the related area.
Next Steps
Visit dentist immediately.
Tell him to treat the cheek bite if detected due plunger cusps .

Do not apply any ointment or gel in the affected area..If the lesion subsides after treatment of cheek bite , then its good .

Mostly seems due to local injury like bitting. You can apply any anesthetic gel locally.
If it increases in size, or pain increases you should consult the dentist.
