Hi all, I was diagnosed in Jan. 2013 through CT ANGIO That I have a blockage in LAD with 70% due to rupture plaque. From last three years I am on medication which as follows - Telma H80 half tablet daily Nebicard 5 once daily Ecosprin av75 once daily Now my question is - How long I have to take these medicines - Do I need any other precaution I walk daily around 6-7 km and I don't have any problem to do this. And can climb stairs up to 3-4 floors without any problem. My age is 40 years and my weight is 102 kg. My blood reports are normal.

I would advice you to undergo a conventional CAG Medicines would depend on the findings of CAG Dr Ashish Srivastava General Physician & Clinical Cardiologist

As u had 70% stenosis in LAD by CT Angio, ideally u should have done a conventional angiogram to confirm it as it showed ruptured plaque. Now u don't have symptoms , u can do. a TMT Bruce protocol to establish any ischaemia. If negative continue with medical management. If positive u need a CAG ( conventional) and if >70% u need angioplasty. Do yearly Cardiac workup and continue with lifestyle modification
