Get yourself examined preferrably by a gum specialist or a periodontist. Sometimes there might be something more severe than expected. Gum disease is a silent disease which you may not realise until your teeth start shaking.

Bleeding gums is the first warning sign of gum disease. Though there are several reasons. First you must not delay in consulting a dentist and get it examined. For routine infection/ inflammation he will advise you to scale your teeth and give medications and order few lab tests if necessary.
