The colour of stool was darkish brown earlier and today it has changed to black . Few early attempts are black and afterwards it turns to darkish brown

If you are sure it was black in colour, you need clinical examination. Normally black coloured stool is due to some food , medicines or most importantly due to bleeding inside slowly.
