Please visit an oral pathologist to verify your condition... Diagnosis of cancer isn't made just by observing colour changes... Lot many symptoms come along with oral cancer... In case of melanosis, because of your habits, corrections can be done using laser treatment or gum depigmentation surgery... So a visit to a dentist is a must.

Instead of jumping to the diagnosis of cancer and searching for remedies, you should first quit the habit once and for all. Then a proper clinical examination will be required to ascertain whether any precancerous changes exist in your mouth. If there is a clinical suspicion a biopsy will be required to confirm the diagnosis of oral cancer and without that jumping to the conclusion is impractical. Blackish discolouration of the gums can be due to racial pigmentation as well as the melanosis caused by the heat of cigarette smoke.
