I take my birth controls regularly as prescribed. along with this, for precautionary measures, is taking morning after pill safe after sex?

You are 18 years old. I don't know for how many years you are married and have been taking oral contraceptives. If you don't want to have a baby in the near future you should go for Intrauterine Contraception.

If you are taking birth control pills, there’s no need to take emergency contraceptive pill

If you are taking birth control pills regularly from day one of the periods without skipping any tab in  between you do not need any extra precautionary measures
