Beta hcg negative was no period

LMP - 12 nov to 18 nov and then spotting till 21 nov but i did beta hcg blood test on 23 november just for safe side and it was negative ( less than 1) but now in december i have not got periods yet and yesterday my home tests were negative..period delay cannot be due to pregnancy right ??
